Description
These iconic New Zealand canvas shoes hail from the flower power era in the early 70s and they definitely have those authentic hippie vibes!
World renowned New Zealand made BATA BULLETS were once all the rage and it's amazing that this pair have survived more than 50 years after production. They probably belong in a fashion museum and they’re certainly a part of retro New Zealand fashion history.
They're still wearable but I would be cautious due to their fragility. Some fading and marks present commensurate with age but overall in good condition as per the photos. One lace is broken as shown.
Each shoe measures approximately 26 cm in length (from heal to toe) I'm a Size 7 and I can fit them (snugly)
I've included a photo of a 1970s advertisement which highlighted these new "casual" shoes (for provenance)
