Hi Harry - I have lots of swanndri clothing. The swanndri sizing for coats is often based on the coat fitting over 2 layers of clothing. That is why a lot of swanndri clothing is slightly or much bigger. The swanndri size charts do not measure the size given as this size is always bigger. Unless I can obtain an as measured armpit to armpit measurement lying flat zipped up I will not place a bid. The armpit measurement is at the bottom of the sleeve. Sorry to be a pain. Hi there, Completely understand, my first measurements were wrong as i went from the two inside armpit to armpit. I've attached more pictures that show the messurements from the outer armpit to armpit and also length from the top zip to bottom of the jacket.
