Rick Owens fabulous super heavy-looking boot! They are actually pretty light to wear - they just look monstrously large!

These Beatle Bozo Tractor boots are above-ankle height. They have geometric side panels in stretch elastic, an angular heel counter with top stitching, a back pull tab, a rounded toe and a tractor sole.

This medium-weight cow leather is veg tanned and finished using natural waxes. A final wash gives this leather its softness and brings out the natural grain texture of each skin. Because this skin is naked, not finished using any pigments covering the skin, natural markings and shadings are visible which makes each skin and product unique.

Veg tanning means only vegetal and natural tannins were used in the process of tanning and preserving this leather.

I purchased the boots from Zambesi store in Britomart, and paid $2,000 for them. They are size EU39 and they are very comfortable and roomy. I usually wear a size EU40 and these size EU39 fit me perfectly (Rick Owen's footwear usually runs large). I have worn these, and I love them, and this is a reluctant sale. (See photos - there isn't much wear on the very rugged soles). I am not going out as much these days, so my fantasies of going out and wearing these magic bozo boots now outweigh the reality ... sadly.
