A quite neat original painting or artwork that is signed Flavell (perhaps J Flavell) has been titled by me, ' Woman In Blue ' as per photo (camera flashes can lighten up or change its looks, so if exact colours & shades are important to you do not bid or buy) This is an original artwork - I think the art work is quite well done. Looks to be done on canvas board or artboard or such. Not an expert, but I think the artwork looks quite good. Has minor little marks, spots, scrapes, shows some wear etc but to me, basically fine or good enough. It is not glassed. I think it is an oil, but could be wrong, so sold as is, so if being either an acrylic or an oil is important to you, just give the auction a miss. The frame seems good and solid enough - but seems basically fine. The frame has minor marks, scrapes, wear & tear etc, but seems solid enough to just hang there. There are many photos to give a good indication of condition, so have a look at all the photos to help you make up your own mind regards its condition, use or interest to you. The frame measures approx 470mm odd x 420mm odd. Inside the frame & what you can actually see of the artwork itself is approx 395mm x 345mm odd. A good collectable piece for the right person or place. We allow pickups, but if you can not pickup or do not want to, we can send for you on your behalf, at your risk, as NZ Post does not cover original artworks.
