A quite neat, signed Enid Martin (or Enid Marten) - of a Bay With Rocky Headland scene as per photos. (camera flashes can lighten up or change its looks, so if exact colours & shades are important to you do not bid or buy) This is an original artwork. I think the art work is quite well done. It looks to me like it could be an oil, BUT, it could be an acrylic, so if being either is important to you, just give the auction a miss. It is signed in lower right. It is done on stretched canvas. Not an expert, but I think the artwork looks good. Has minor little marks, wear etc etc, but to me, it is basically fine. Has a good solid frame, has some minor marks, scrapes, wear & tear etc, but again, I think it is fine. (still quite ok to just hang there as it is) It is not glassed. There are many photos to give a good indication of condition, so have a look at all the photos to help you make up your own mind regards its condition, use, value or interest to you. The frame measures approx 580mm odd x 470mm odd. Inside that frame and what you can actually see of the artwork measures approx 495mm odd x 390mm odd A good collectable piece for the right person or place. We allow pickups, but if you can not pickup or do not want to, we can send for you on your behalf, at your risk, as NZ Post does not cover original artworks.
