A neat, signed piece (but can not make it out) Villa on The Hillside scene - looks European, as per photos. (camera flashes can lighten up or change its looks, so if exact colours & shades are important to you do not bid or buy) This is an original artwork & I think the art work is quite well done. It does look good, Looks to be done on card or board etc. I think it is an oil, as it looks like it and is textured in places, but could be wrong, it could be an acrylic so if being either is real important to you, just give the auction a miss, as it is sold as is, whatever it is. There are a few little marks or spots, etc, but it is basically fine I think. It is not glassed. The frame is the retro type, has marks, scrapes, chips, wear & tear etc, but seems solid enough to just hang there. There are many photos to give a good indication of condition, so have a look at all the photos to help you make up your own mind regards its condition, use or interest to you. The frame measures approx 505mm odd x 425mm odd. Inside the frame and what you can actually see of the artwork is approx 390mm odd x 310mm odd. A good collectable piece for the right person or place. We allow pickups, but if you can not pickup or do not want to, we can send for you on your behalf, at your risk, as NZ Post does not cover original artworks.
