A beautiful original artwork by Norma Hartley entitled Berrys Bay - as per photos. (camera flashes can lighten up or change its looks, so if exact colours & shades are important to you do not bid or buy) This is an original artwork & I think the art work is quite well done. It does look good, May be odd little marks or spots etc, but it is basically fine. I think it is an oil, but could be wrong, might be an acrylic, so sold as is, whatever it is, so if being either is important to you, just give the auction a miss. It is not glassed. The frame is retro with the old material look on the inside, it is a frame inside a frame sort of thing, seems good and solid enough and looks ok. The frame has minor marks, scrapes, chips wear & tear etc and that material is lifting and has stains marks etc, but seems solid enough to just hang there. There are many photos to give a good indication of condition, so have a look at all the photos to help you make up your own mind regards its condition, use or interest to you. The frame measures approx 510mm odd x 400mm odd. Inside the frame is approx 450mm odd x 340mm odd and what you can actually see of the artwork itself is approx 390mm odd x 285mm odd. A good collectable piece for the right person or place. We allow pickups, but if you can not pickup or do not want to, we can send for you on your behalf, at your risk, as NZ Post does not cover original artworks.
