A neat, original, probably oil painting that is signed N Hampson of a Mount Egmont / Mt Taranaki Mountain Sheep & Tree Scene Original Painting as per photos. (camera flashes can lighten up or change its looks, so if exact colours & shades are important to you do not bid or buy) This is an original artwork, guessing 1970s ? looking at the frame perhaps. I think the art work looks quite. I think that it is an oil as there is quite a bit of texture there, but could be wrong & could be an acrylic so it is sold as is whatever it is, (so if the media used is important to you, give the auction a miss) It is undated. Not an expert, but I think the artwork looks good. It is not glassed. Looks to be on canvas board etc. Has minor age related mark spots, wear etc, but all quite livable and fine I think. The frame is light but seems good and solid enough. The frame has some minor marks, scrapes, wear & tear etc, but seems solid enough to just hang there. There are many photos to give a good indication of condition, so have a look at all the photos to help you make up your own mind regards its condition, use, value or interest to you. The frame measures approx 535mm odd x 435mm odd. Inside the inner frame and what you can actually see of the artwork itself is approx 495mm odd x 395mm odd A good collectable piece for the right person or place.
