Trisno Santoso's paintings are renowned for their compelling compositions and resonant emotional depth. The artist, who was contemporaneous with Rudiyat in Bandung, often saw his work prominently featured and well-received in joint exhibitions, competing favorably with his colleagues. His solo exhibitions were marked by a complete sell-out of his works. This 1974 oil painting, is an evocative portrayal of the dynamic Balinese urban scene.
