This English tile depicts the "Olveston" house in Dunedin that was willed to that city by the daughter of this Jewish family. Her father imported pianos from around the world and brought back many beautiful treasures which you can visit Olveston to admire. This art piece was drawn by Shona McFarlane, a well-known late New Zealand artist. Made in England. Measures 15 cm square, in perfect condition. I have enjoyed many happy visits to this house and its intriguing contents of a past long ago. Included are three informative pamphlets about this house.
