Gorgeous collectable and very rare in NZ, vintage Tuareg leather boxes. Bought directly from the nomadic Niger Tuareg tribe of West Africa whilst in Timbuktu (Mali). These boxes are made from a wooden frame then covered with leather and dyed with hand worked patterns that have special meanings. Make a fantastic gift for the person who has everything or is an Art collector. Can be used to hold trinkets, cards, jewellery, desk top items, or just as decorative item. I’ve seen similar VINTAGE boxes like this on sale overseas for over $500 ??
