Lord Kitchener, 1850-1916 was a British Army commander, who visited New Zealand in February 1910, at the request of the government, to advise on the Dominion's defence. Famous for the poster "Your country needs you". Card states "Souvenir of Visit to the Dominion, February, 1910". Protected. Printed by Ferguson Ltd., Ch Ch". Back (divided) not written on but printed with "Gold Medal Series. Ferguson Limited ChCh. Place for 1/2d stamp. Condition: slight spot on front, corners ver slightly worn, small tear lower lft edge. $15
