Probably one of the most recognizable figurines "Top of the Hill" from Royal Doulton is of a well dressed lady with voluminous underskirts, long scarf and a firmly clasped hat. She stand 17cm tall. She is in excellent used condition. "Top of the Hill" was based on a picture by Mollie Benetar and was designed by Leslie Harradine in1937. The figurine has appeared in various colourways during its production life 1937-2004, but this model is in one of the original schemes of deep red with yellow & green accessories. The number on her underneath is HN1834 along with the initials MS.

She is a wonderful figurine that would stand out in any collection.
