Description
Circa 1920s-30s, this is a traditional scene pf a young chap pulling a rickshaw carriage with a well dressed lady seated and relaxing on her cushioned seat holding a parasol in one hand and a fan in the other. It is press molded in celluloid with hand- painted details. possibly to imitate ivory miniature carvings and sold as souvenirs for the touring public. Excellent condition in consideration of age and vulnerability of material.
Gotta love that lady's expression!
10cm long by 4 wide and 8.5 tall
