A possibly 10th Century Pot or a recent one pottery pot as per photos. (except that camera flash can change colours & shades etc and make things look brighter & better than they really are) Now, the person I got this off said she bought it years and years ago (30 - 40 years ago +) from an art & antiques auction and was told it was 10th century (so approx 1,000 years old) So, I do NOT know myself if this is real real old or not, so, only good for a person who knows about these things and is satisfied for themselves what it is, or what its not. Do NOT bid or buy otherwise. It may have just been made last year in China or India. Now, obviously it has cracks, has holes, has been glued back together with missing parts etc etc. The photos show this. Someone may recognise the style & pattern etc. It measures approx 195mm odd high, approx 170mm odd wide. Approx 115mm wide at the base, approx 90mm odd at the rim lip. Postage is as it is as it needs volume for packaging to help minimise chance of breakage (PO charges for volume) and am not willing to send in a small box (which would be half the postage cost) Compare those measurements with something you already have to give you a good idea of size. There are a number of photos, hopefully enough, to try & give a good indication of state and condition etc, and to help you decide its value to you & its suitability to your use or purpose, whatever that may be. We allow pickups, but if you do not want to pickup, then we can send for you, on your behalf, at your risk. Couriers & PO etc do not cover art, antiques, collectables & heaps of other things so is sent entirely at your risk.
