For the collector – AIRCRAFT TODAY AND YESTERDAY

We offer today an interesting collection, something old, something newish: a Source Book of Aircraft and a DVD and booklet on fighters.

The aged booklet on aircraft was published in London in 1970 by Ward Lock Ltd. It contains 160 pages of most interesting data and information, covering the period from the historic Wright Flyer to the Concord.

With more than 150 b/w photos it provides a wide array of technical data and background information. Sadly this aged booklet which measures 17 cm x 12 cm has seen some extensive use and some water damage to the cover pages , probably the reason why the National Library of new Zealand discarded it many moons ago before it turned up again in a Christchurch post Earthquake auction.

This so collectable hard cover booklet is now supplemented with an interesting DVD and booklet of fighters to the year 2007, not including those Russian fighter planes sadly now in action. It covers the development of fighters from Word Word I to the stealth fighters.
