Description
Note No 'egg' inserts included
The M79 grenade launcher set the standard for modern rifle grenade systems to come. Both the standalone M79 and a integrated 40mm launcher was designed to fling frags in the direction of the enemy during the Vietnam War. These weapons needed to be feed and these bandoleers did this job well & inexpensively.
The rifle grenades are stored in two wings on the left and right. Each grenade shares space with 2 others in each wing but can be individually accessed with a snap dome flap each. Originally these would have plastic 'egg' inserts so the grenades wouldn't slip around and be easier to draw but are missing on these ones. A simple strap is used to physically tie a knot to secure the bandoleer around yourself, typically over shoulder but can be worn around the waist.
If you are doing a Vietnam war impression for a collection, re-enactment or airsoft kit then these are the ticket. For transporting 40 mike-mikes en mass you cannot go past these for price!
