Depose letter postage scales. Used in post offices circa late 1800's to early 1900's. Made in Germany. Brass body with cast iron base. 16.5cmH x 11cmL x 7cmW. Letter support plate: 6.5cm diameter. A hard-to-find item as this has the original detachable brass letter support plate. These are often lost.
