Here is a rare Royal Tour of Australia & N.Z. 1949, Commemorative Mug made by Brentleigh Ware in England, still in very good condition. The Mug stands approx 10cm tall, an interesting item for someone's Royal Collection.
"A visit to New Zealand and Australia by King George VI, Princess Elizabeth and Princess Margaret was proposed for 1949. As the dates for the tour grew near, it became apparent that the King's ill health would not allow it to take place."
