The coronation of Edward VII and his wife as King and Queen of the United Kingdom and the British Dominions took place at Westminster Abbey, London, on 9 August 1902. It was the second attempt as an early date had to be cancelled for some medical reasons.
Please check the photos for details of this rare and so collectable mug, made by Chapman’s in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, in Staffordshire, the very heartland of quality china production in England in the good old days.
This beauty is a real museum piece, over 120 years old. It shows its age. We offer this rare royal souvenir in a well used vintage condition for your collection, for display.
