Description
A lovely 1919 dated image of The Avenue in Wanganui. It is a real photo postcard by Frank Duncan and Company of Auckland. The image itself was a FGR image # 3513. The building of James Thain & Co (Iron Merchants) can be seen in the LH foreground. Other names can be read such as the Water’s Buildings, stationers and the likes. The card has a 1919 dated text on the reverse side. For condition see my photos.
