Vintage, collectable, 1951, Singer sewing machine No 221K Featherweight. In amazing condition.

This sewing machine was given to me (in the 1980s) by an elderly friend of mine who had used it to make small quilts and patchwork. Being a professional seamstress myself, I had an industrial Bernina for work, so, apart from trying it out and having a bit of fun with it, I’ve not used it much (or at all ;-)) since then. It’s been in storage a long time but circumstances have made it necessary to let it go.

Please note! It includes a vintage folding tracing wheel with a value of up to $150!

As you can see from the photos, all the printed (gold) decorations and lettering are in almost perfect condition. The storage box shows its age but the catches work well although there’s no key to lock it.

Also: The light works as it should It sews quietly with even stitches and perfect tension It all fits nicely in the black box which measures 33cm w x 20cm d x 30cm h.
