Description
This trivet, the Kenrick No 10, was manufactured by Archibald Kenrick & Sons. The company opened in 1791 in West Bromwich, England and continues to operate at their original site today. They originally produced buckles and livery fittings, however, as times have changed they have shifted their production to window and door hardware.
During the ironing process a trivet was used to support the hot flatiron so that it did not burn a surface when not in use.
Thought to have been manufactured 1900-1920.
