Description
Primus No. 77 Camping Stove.
Runs on Gasoline (petrol).
Manufactured in 1937. 86yrs old.
These petrol burners from Primus are quite hard to come by.
Features noisy burner caps. Where the later model (1938) has so-called "silent burner caps". (Back in the day, folks didn't want the noisy burner caps).
Hunting, fishing, travel.
The following instructions must be observed during operation:
- pour gasoline only into a cooled primus stove through the hole for screwing the pump in the tank!
- before use, check the absence of gasoline leaks by turning the primus stove with the burner down;
- to ignite the stove and intensify the flame, turn the combined control key counterclockwise, to reduce the flame and extinguish it - clockwise;
- maximum combustion intensity is achieved by turning the combined control key 1/4 turn counterclockwise;
- The safety valve works automatically. Before starting operation, it is necessary to disassemble the valve and renew a thin layer of lubricant CIATIM-202 GOST 11110-75 on the gasket.
- Primus runs on motor gasoline.
- One filling of 1.9 liters ensures continuous burning of two burners for 2-4 hours.
- A two-liter kettle boils for 10 minutes at an outside air temperature of at least +16 °C. Reliable operation of the stove is ensured in the temperature range from minus 30 C to +40 °C.
Nota Bene: I have removed rust and spray painted some paint on it, to prevent rust re-occuring.
Happy Bidding~!
