Impressive wooden model sailing ship , scratch built. See images. Great display item.
Based on 'Nellie' built in 1862 by Dan Hatcher as a ferry boat on Chichester Harbour, Sussex, UK. It was a pole masted vessel with the topsail hoisted on the head of the lower mast. The passenger seats could be removed to provide access to the 'Cuddy' for overnight sleeping for the crewman.
In VG condition 73 cm long, 90cm high 21 wide.
