Description
An old copper kettle with brass threaded lid and spout cap. I havnt found any manufacturers branding but I suspect this was originally in a vintage travel/picnic set. Made square to fit in a specific space. Possibly from a Sirram travel kit? The lid and spout cap appear the same as those on the older Sirram kettles. Beneath the threaded lid hides a strainer with cap where you would put your tea leaves for your brew. A very unique piece which looks good on display. It comfortably holds 1 litre of water and doesn’t leak on any of the seams. However……the cap requires a new seal to maintain water tightness on your travels. If I get a chance I may make one myself out of nitrile rubber. Please check my other listings too.
