Little needs to be said about Fred Lowen and the Tessa name, all you need do is take a quick look at the profile of this gorgeous design and it speaks for itself.

Clean fluid lines and impressive comfort is the basis behind this stunning design form the T8 range which is one of the most collectible designs to come from the firm. Constructed out of a heavy canvas sling fully supported by a pressed, laminated hardwood frame which is in the perfect position to mirror the human figure. Finished in a deep black, full grain, bovine leather cushion, which are all in lovely supple condition. A broad, slightly reclining seating position with wide detachable armrests and removable pads if you prefer the wooden look, achieving a winning combination of comfort, lightness and grace.

I would say this is by far the most comfortable piece of furniture I have ever sat in, a deep, soft cushion to smoosh into in just the right fluid shape for comfort and support. comfort 10/10

Aesthetics aside, this is an important slice of Fred Lowen's designs, in 1999 he was inducted into the 'Design Institute of Australia' - Hall of Fame. All his designs are great investments as well as being truly beautiful to look at and admire, whilst ergonomic.

Condition: Tip top condition. Original finish to the timber is great with hardly a mark, no cracks or grazes with all feet in place. The slings are also in good condition no issues apart from some minor marks under the two seater cushion. The Leather is beautiful with a soft, aged patina that is only found in high quality leather that has been well cared for over time. Professionally cleaned & revived to a high standard. 9.5/10
