An old tin advertising tray from Collinson and Cunninghame, Palmerston North.
Also inscribed with "The Home of Father Christmas". Its 31cm x 23.5cm.
Collinson and Cunninghame was a department store, and world famous in NZ for its Christmas Cave - where generations of kids (including me) descended into the exciting underground cave every year to visit Father Christmas and see all of the wonderful decorations and wind-up displays.
