ABOUT THE ROLE

As the one responsible for Maintenance, you will play a vital role in the upkeep and maintenance of New World Papakura. You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks aimed at ensuring the safety, functionality, and appearance of our facility. Your dedication and commitment to maintaining a high standard of quality will make a significant impact on our staff and customers. Minimum 10 hours a week. Some of key responsibilities/tasks may include:

• Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks, including electrical, plumbing and carpentry work
• Handle basic landscaping and outdoor maintenance
• Maintain and repair equipment as needed
• Keep accurate records of maintenance carried out
• Ensure all Health & Safety and Food Safety protocols are followed
• Coordinate with contractors when necessary
• Assist in the cleaning of onsite equipment/machinery when required

ABOUT THE CANDIDATE

Here is what we are looking for in the ideal candidate:

• Relevant trade experience
• Physically fit and able to fulfil all work duties
• Ability to effectively communicate at all levels
• NZ Driver's License
• Right to work in New Zealand
