At Westend New world we are a locally owned and operated store, and we are committed to provide a unique level of customer service, range, quality, and value to all the people of Rotorua and the wider community.

We seek a team leader with a hands-on approach, a person who has management skills to develop the bakery department. Good solid experience in achieving financial targets and managing a team of staff, with great leadership skills. Able to achieve specified profit margins in the department whilst managing expenses and stock levels, so our customers receive an outstanding shopping experience. Must be computer literate, to understand SAP knowledge and digital food safety (training will be provided). In this role you'll gain experience similar to running your own business with the challenge of creating an outstanding team that will deliver growth and customer satisfaction.

Other responsibilities include: Rostering, Staff management, training and supporting our Bakery apprentices, product scheduling, stock ordering, product range development, baking and compliance of legislative requirements.
