Butchery Assistant - TOP Rate Offered!

Our butchery packers are responsible for assisting our manager to provide an unrivalled customer experience in our butchery department. We have both full time and part time roles on offer - so if this is you, let's talk!

You'll be responsible for keeping the butchery case looking its best by efficiently packing and labelling meat, ensuring that our product is priced accurately, and that our customer offer is full at all times of the day, taking note of any adjustments we may need to make in our production schedule.

Other key responsibilities include:

• Unloading and marking off deliveries, merchandising and stock rotation.
• Maintaining a clean and hygienic department, following food safety guidelines, and completing paperwork.

Helping the butchery team in daily tasks, you'll develop product knowledge through the training we'll provide but you'll need to bring the passion for hard work, service excellence and pride in your work.

To be successful in this position you'll need to be:

• Friendly, approachable and have excellent customer service skills
• A great team player who is willing to go the extra mile for their colleagues
• Good work ethic, committed and reliable
• Happy to work in a cold environment and with raw meat
• Good time management and organizational skills
